Tennessee A Southwest TN Children's Hospital that opened in June 2010 is building a team of 8 NNPs for its 36-bed Level IIIC NICU and special care nursery. This is a surgical unit where all surgeries are performed except open heart. The patient population contains many babies with congenital heart anomalies. The ECMO patients are in the PICU. This is a teaching hospital so the NNPs must be comfortable in an academic setting. They will teach residents, provide patient management and perform procedures. No transport or labor and delivery responsibility. 12 hour rotating shifts; The NNPs will work 36 hours per week, but be paid for 40 to allow time for educational projects. 24/7 in house Neonatology coverage. Salary based upon experience. EXPERIENCED MSN NNP CANDIDATES PREFERRED, BUT WILL CONSIDER BSN CANDIDATES IF THEY CAN BE OR ARE LICENSED IN TENNESSEE. They will also consider NEW GRADUATE NNPs.
