Our History & Credo

Linkous & Associates is a family-owned and operated specialty recruitment service for the neonatal healthcare industry.

Our name is synonymous with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner recruitment. For more than 28 years, our integrity and commitment to our candidates and clients helped us to establish a reputation as a leader in the NNP recruitment industry.

Our Story

Since inception in 1991 by founder, Judy Linkous, Linkous & Associates has played an integral role in the neonatal community focusing on the recruitment and placement of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatal Physician Assistants nationwide.

Carrying on the family legacy, Judy’s daughters Kelly Linkous and Suzanne Welde, continue to cultivate an extensive network of NNPs, Neonatal PAs, hospitals, and physician groups to fill the wide-ranging needs of our clients.

Upon joining Linkous & Associates as a recruiter and part owner in 2008, Kelly’s nearly ten years of experience in research and market analysis seamlessly expanded the services of Linkous & Associates. Kelly’s degree in Communication-Public Relations and Business Administration, allows her to effectively serve both her candidates and clients while managing day to day operations.

In 2019, Suzanne returned to her “Linkous” roots in joining the family business. A Masters-level mental health professional, Suzanne has served as a Licensed School Counselor since 2003.  She loved building relationships and working diligently to meet the needs of public-school students and now uses her counseling and consulting skills to support highly qualified health care professionals in their career decision-making.

What Words Do Our Clients Use To Describe Us?

Invaluable.
Vital.
Compassionate.
Excellent.

Kelly helped me secure a position where I otherwise wouldn’t be able to get a foot in the door. It can be difficult to reach a person for a conversation in human resource departments. Kelly was able to bypass that. I think I found a great fit and hope to not need Linkous services again! But I would if I needed to.
