Would you like to work for the best hospital in the state and live in a commercial, cultural, and recreational hub surrounded by water, mountains, and forests?  A not-for-profit, university-based magnet facility seeks experienced Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioners who have prior Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience to help provide Level II Newborn Nursery and Level IV NICU coverage.


Main Campus

  • 20+ bed, Level IV NICU
  • 24/7 in-house Neonatologist
  • Residents/Fellows in unit
  • High-risk delivery attendance
  • No transport responsibility
  • 12-hour rotating shifts

Newborn Nursery

  • 4-bed, Level II NICU
  • Easy access campus
  • Non-profit community hospital
  • No transport responsibility
  • Shift length TBD; 24s may be an option

PNP-AC Role:

  • Operating under the parameters of clinical practice and continuity of care, you will attend high-risk deliveries and provide medical care to both high-risk neonates and normal newborns.
  • Your role involves rotating 12-hour shifts and does not include transport.
  • 24/7 in-house Neonatologist coverage in the Level IV NICU.
  • You will have a primary site with some rotation to a nearby, easily accessible, secondary location.

Requirements:

  • MSN and either ANCC or PNCB certification required upon start, as are NRP certification and Prescriptive Authority.
  • You MUST have prior Acute Care work experience. No exceptions will be made.
  • Prior Level III NICU and delivery room experience are strongly preferred.
